Become a Mental Health First Aid Champion
This one day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aid Champion, giving you:
An understanding of common mental health issues
An understanding of how to help build a mentally healthy workplace, challenge stigma and support positive well-being
Ability to spot signs of mental ill health, e.g. depression, anxiety disorder, etc
Confidence to approach someone who is experiencing mental ill health and signpost to support
Course format:
This is a one day course can be delivered either face-to-face or online.
What happens on the day?
One day face to face course
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities
We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn
Outcome/Takeaways
Everyone who completes the course gets:
A certificate of attendance to say you are an MHFA Champion
A manual to refer to whenever you need it
A quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan
A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health

Please enquire if you would like to run a private course for your organisation only - maximum number of delegates on each course is 16 and the course can be run face-to-face or online - whichever is your preference.
We also offer a small number of places at a reduced fee for charities or individuals who are not able to fund the full cost themselves.
